In such events the ability to keep on pedaling in any circumstance is far more important than sprinting speed. Aside from the unmatched efficiency provided by MetaBikes recumbents, MetaPhrastic bikes include disc brakes for safe braking under any wheather and a wide range of gears. Tyres can be up to 700x35C to increase comfort or even to ride on unpaved roads.
